The Fated are called to solve the murder of the town’s mayor, Hannibal Crowe. Multiple people have reasons to want the man dead, but who did the deed? An ongoing water shortage already has the citizens on edge, and suspicions are running rampant. As the Fated ask questions, they’ll peel away Innocence’s idyllic covering to reveal darker truths. The town has not revealed all of its secrets. The largest is just getting ready to claw its way to the surface...
Return to Innocence is a sequel to the Penny Dreadful In Defence of Innocence, but can be played as a standalone adventure. This is a four-act adventure filled with mysteries, murder, and seedy political complexities for the Through the Breach roleplaying game. It requires a copy of the Core Rules to play.
