About the role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store and play a key role in staff leadership, customer service, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and strong product knowledge
    Support staff training, supervision, and rostering
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and merchandising
    Help organise and run in-store events, tournaments, and community activities
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
    Act as Store Manager when required
Skill & experience
  • Previous retail experience (leadership or supervisory experience preferred)
    Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Passion for games, hobbies, and pop culture
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for week days, weekends and late trading nights
