In commemoration of the movie release, the main character Xi Gundam and the rival machine Penelope are available as a set! The new HGUC plastic model of the Xi Gundam MS of Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway is a massive set loaded with detail. Designer Hajime Katoki provided the source layout, this is a large MS set reproduced on a 1/144 scale. A sense of density and volume is done through the finest details in each part. Beam saber, beam rifle, shield weapons, and hand parts included. The shield can be attached by removing the hexagonal parts of the arm. The Penelope is the highly sought-after opponent released in 2020. Funnel missiles with new parts with details reproduce the battle image. Two sets of clear color display pedestals are included.
Gundam models, or Gunpla, are assembly model kits depicting the vehicles and characters of the fictional anime Gundam universe by Bandai. Gunpla is very popular due to the high quality of engineering, the flexible articulation of the finished models, the pre-colored plastic parts, and the ease of construction. No glue is necessary to construct, though specialized plastic cutters or hobby knives are recommended to remove the parts of the sprue. Stickers and decals for markings are usually supplied, as well as universal instruction sheets.
