Gotham City has long been known as a haven for crime and corruption. But from this darkness rose its greatest defenders: Batman and his extended Batman Family. In their desperate fight for justice, some of them may take things too far into villainous territory. But at the same time, even criminals may be inspired to act heroically from time to time. When the Bat-Signal shines in the night sky, the Heroes must unite or succumb to the darkness.
This expansion brings DC Super Heroes United to the mean streets of Gotham City. The Heroes of the Batman Family are always ready to take on the multitude of threats assailing the city, even as some of them occasionally fall so far as to become Villains themselves. It also features the Bat-Signal Challenge, forcing Heroes to deal with additional emergencies, as well as much-needed Support characters to help the Heroes in the insurmountable task of cleansing the city.
