Enter a futuristic world of spacefaring bees in this strategic worker placement game where the hive's survival depends on your decisions.
In Apiary, players take control of advanced bee species in a distant future where bees have colonized space. Through clever worker placement, resource management, and hive-building, players must gather resources, explore new territories, and adapt their hive's strategy to ensure survival. The game introduces a unique "worker aging" mechanic where your bees grow more powerful over time, but must eventually retire, adding an exciting layer of planning and timing to your actions.
With its beautifully detailed artwork and deep strategic gameplay, Apiary immerses players in a world of interstellar bees vying for dominance and survival in a cosmic hive. The variety of actions and choices ensures that every game presents new challenges and opportunities for creative play.
Recommended for ages 14 and up, Apiary supports 1 to 5 players. Itβs a standalone game that offers immersive strategy and a unique futuristic twist on worker placement mechanics.

"Sorry for the ridiculous pun. Apiary is a beautiful game and was tons of fun on our first play through at 2 players. So many options and looking forward to delving deeper into the strategies. Also, as with all stonemaier games, the insert is perfect. So nice having an organised game."
