A new season of carnage and warfare in the Mortal Realms is at hand with the upcoming release of the General's Handbook 2025-2026 . This is the new guide to matched play in Warhammer Age of Sigmar—both competitive and casual—implementing a number of rule changes, a new interpretation of Battle Tactics, and seasonal rules with a distinctly Gyran feel.

More than just a book this time, the General's Handbook is a boxed set containing a 72-page book, a set of six double-sided Battle Tactics cards, a set of six double-sided Battleplan cards, a reference map, and 13 double-sided Universal Manifestations Warsroll cards.

Also included is a set of six objective markers for the new season—two Oakenbrow, two Gnarlroot, one Winterleaf, and one Heartwood, each with a non-slip backing.
