Canasta is a 4 player, rummy-based card game, played with two complete 54-card decks, including 4 jokers which are shuffled together. The players form a group of 2 players in a team. Teammates sit opposite each other. The objective is for a 2 players to accumulate 5,000 points by forming melds from the playing cards.
