Artist Marjorie Sarnat was born and raised in Chicago, where her calling as an artist was evident from a young age.
Enchanted by drawings of all kinds; storybooks that neighbours discarded were collected and Marjorie practised the drawing styles in them.
Years later, she followed her dream and became a professional illustrator.
