The Pintabian horse has been around for a very long time. A Pintabian breed horse has approximately 99% of its bloodline from the Arabian breed but instead of primarily being 1 coloured coat, this breed has tobiano markings. Tobiano refers to a specific spotting of darker colours on a mainly light-coloured body coat. Although this breed is close to 100% Arabian purebred, they are still less than 100% Arabian since no purebreds have their body coat with spotted markings.
