In Sanctuary, you'll plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo for animals and visitors. A stock of 135 unique zoo tiles will allow you to create animals, buildings, and projects. Each game, you'll seek to find the best combination of those available to build the most successful zoo. Different effects on the tiles will help you achieve your conservation goals and increase the appeal of your zoo.
Each player has a deck of four Action cards to manage their game, and the power of an action is determined by the slot the card occupies. One of these cards will allow you to play projects, and the other three will allow you to play animals from a specific habitat: forest, rock, or water.
Sanctuary is based on its predecessor Ark Nova, but modifies and simplifies many of that game's mechanics in elegant and surprising ways. Your goal: finding the best way to assemble your animals, buildings, and projects on your zoo map is a constant joy!
