What a beating this week has been!
The whole weekend consisted of Warhammer 8th Edition rulebook release… red bull… Yugioh! nationals… ear plugs + red bull… magic pre release… instant noodles + red bull… MORE RED BULL!!!!
We had over 10 players for the 8th edition release with a series of mini tournaments with coupons given to players. It was good to see Drew from GW come in and have a game… he WASN’T allowed to win Hehe
Yugioh! Nats had over 200 participants with plenty of side events and casual play. Luckily Paul and Scott was there because I think anyone else on that shift would have huddled in a corner… crying… Cheers fellas!
Magic the Gathering pre release kicked off with a midnight launch with a 4:00 am slot. We had over 20 players for the first flight and 15 for the second. The rest of the night was one big massive blur… I ended up going home at 11am but couldn’t go to bed… damn you red bulls!
This coming weekend we’ll be kicking off with MTG Launch parties so reserve a spot at your nearest Good Games – costs, time, date for flights are all detailed below. In case you weren’t aware, for every entry to a Launch party you will receive an exclusive Promo foil of the single “Ancient Hellkite”. Having personally dealt with this guy… trust me… you’d be very happy to crack one in a pack.
