Good Games Distribution
If you use Good Games Distribution, you will improve your business.
If you use Good Games Distribution, you will make more money.
Really it's as simple as that. We have been working for years now both in front and behind the scenes of the retail game industry and in that time have planned and replanned a distribution company that would be the kind of business that we had hoped we would be dealing with when we started our first Good Games store. The kind of company that can offer actual advice beyond 'this is our top seller'. The kind of company that understands that stock levels and availability of product are not niceties, they're mandatory. A distribution company has two functions – to give sound advice and to have product available.
So – we have been building our system and fine tuning it. We've sourced distributorships, from Fantasy Flight Games to Arcane Tinmen – Rio Grande, Paizo Publishing and more. We've been getting the right people – Lucene Evans, who we've been dealing with on this front for many years (and perhaps you have to), has always been our first choice to head up this arm of our company, and we're happy to say that now she is doing just that. We know who we are. We may have a large presence on the retail side of gaming, but from a distribution standpoint we are small and new. As such we can be like a small and new company should be – quick to adapt, willing to work, and eager to please.
We have put together what we feel are the core aspects of what we want this company to be – so we have...
The Cornerstones of Good Games Distribution
- Range - while most distributors specialise in one or two areas of gaming, our system is a reflection of all the products we ourselves carry at our stores, and as such represents a broad range of most gaming systems. Ordering from a single point reduces your time commitment, freight costs and streamlines your business.
- Simplicity - As long as you can buy something from Amazon, you can use our system – it's easy to setup and use, and because it's automated it goes directly from you to the person processing your order. Of course if you prefer to ring, email, fax, MSN, Facebook, etc. - that's fine too.
- Knowledge - we are all gamers and we know our products very well. We are happy to advise on what's good, what's bad, what sells and what doesn't. The Good Games network consists of some 30+ staff members from all gaming backgrounds – we have experts across all gaming systems.
- Personal service - your account manager is not an order taker, but someone there - available to advise you on what works for our other stores and what can help your business. After all, we don't make money unless your business is successful.
- Special deals - we spend a lot of time buying bulk and discounted stock that we pass on at very low rates – allowing for either great sale stock or really good margins for you.
- Small-scale ordering - It may be that you don't want a 10-unit display of an older YuGiOh structure deck, or only want 12 boosters of the latest magic set, one Pokemon theme deck, etc. – we can process orders down to the smallest unit to suit your individual need.
